The Victorian Government is establishing a Royal Commission into Mental Health – the first of its kind in Australia.

The Royal Commission will map out a plan of action that drives major changes to Victoria’s mental health services.

These changes will save lives.

All Victorians are invited to share their experiences and expertise with the Royal Commission to help inform the Terms of Reference and its recommendations.

The Terms of Reference will help guide the themes and issues explored by the Royal Commission.

The recommendations will help to reform the current mental health system and support Victorians with mental illness, including those at risk of suicide.

Answers to common questions about the Royal Commission are answered on the your questions answered page on health.vic.

You can have your say on the Terms of Reference for the Royal Commission until midnight on 27 January 2019.
